Nothing special, just a super simple iOS app that lets you scan barcodes and QR codes so you can access them later, either via the app or using widgets. No subscriptions, no tracking, just a side project from a developer who never wrote an iOS app before and wanted to give SwiftUI a try. Scans most formats, allows you to change the data in the barcode or even convert between barcode formats.

Since the release of the iPhone 3G I wanted to create an iOS app, but never got to the point of launching anything in the App Store. Every time I tried my ambitions were a bit higher than my skill level would allow. So this time I decided to keep it quite simple and that really helped. The app itself was still quite some work to get done. Rendering certain barcode formats in a widget wasn't that straight forward, so I had to create some work-arounds for that. But I am really pleased with the end result and use the app for my loyalty card of the supermarket I visit most often. Works really great to have the widget in a stack and just swipe to the card when needed.
