@sk_94 Hey! Love the privacy-first approach.. storing everything locally is refreshing.
Just a small heads-up: even apps that don’t collect data usually still publish a short Privacy Policy stating that explicitly. It helps protect you legally and avoids any confusion with platforms or users.
You may already have one somewhere, but figured I’d mention it just in case.
Sounds interesting! Can build a dashboard to monitor the recurrent data I analyze every day. It simplyfies everything. Glad to see you on this!

@german_merlo1 That's great idea, we have this idea in the roadmap where we select specific content from different websites and show it as a dashboard. We are also working on a hide distracting elements feature(just like Safari). The app is free for 3 widgets. Pls try!
It sounds like a great product, but I’m not sure whether the memory usage is continuous or keeps increasing over time.

@stellawwwwwww Great question! I've actually been working on this — the upcoming release will pause background activity when Peek isn't in use, so it won't consume memory when idle. Should be available soon!
Upvoted! BTW, is it possible to just make a widget appear on my desktop rather than in the hovering menu bar?

@wowinter13 Not yet, it has a "Pin" feature. You can pin any widget and it will always show up till it is closed. You can use it for as a picture in picture mode for watching videos/tutorials. It also respects the refresh intervals and stays fresh.

🚫 Built-in Ad Blocking — Peek now blocks all major ad networks automatically, so your previews stay clean. Read more
🎨 Theme Switching — You can now choose between light and dark themes, or have Peek follow your system setting. Read more
To try these out, update via Settings → About → Check for Updates.
