Hello! I'm a bit nervous showing my project here, but I think is time to give it a go in the awesome ProductHunt community. :-D
I have been developing this website long time ago. It has been my hobby since... I think 2007! (whoa I suddenly feel quite old!)
Its purpose has always been to practice some code while doing something I find interesting. Started as kind of a challenge for myself with a little voice in my head telling me "myself, I don't think you are capable to make it" and well, I always enjoy a good challenge. :D
To the point. This website is intended to be a Social Network for amateur footballers that want to play football. Finding people to play can be quite challenging so the idea is around that.
The idea evolved and evolved through the years to include stuff that I never believed I could do by myself! Stuff like a ranking system of footballers, teams, referees and even pitches, as well as creation of matches, attending confirmation and the incoming pitches reservations.
The footballers can even add a minute by minute report of goals, goalkeeper saves and other silly stuff that makes every amateur footballer very proud.
If interested, I started developing the idea in PHPNuke, and later I moved to Joomla!. The community of Joomla! is really great and I'm using a lot of stuff from it.
It still has TONS of bugs and incoming fixes and functionalities, but I would love to receive feedback from you guys. Please take a look at it and tell me what you think. Your feedback is invaluable for me!
