Our Property NG was inspired by a clear gap in Nigeria’s real-estate industry: most agents, landlords, and property managers lacked an affordable, easy-to-use digital system that could simplify their daily operations. Prince (Alhaji) ESV Taiwo Salam and his team at Taiwo Salam & Co. Properties Ltd observed that property management in Nigeria was still largely manual, relying on paper files, notebooks, WhatsApp chats, and physical visits. This made rent collection slow, documentation inconsistent, maintenance requests poorly tracked, and transparency difficult. They set out to build a single platform that could address these long-standing problems with a modern, localised solution. The project aims to solve challenges such as fragmented record-keeping, late or untracked rent payments, lack of online presence for agents, inefficient tenant communication, poor maintenance coordination, and the inability for landlords to scale operations as their property portfolios grow. Our Property NG approaches these problems by offering an all-in-one, cloud-based system that automates invoicing, rent reminders, lease management, payment tracking, maintenance reporting, and record storage. It also allows real-estate professionals to create a complete property-listing website without needing technical skills, giving them visibility in a competitive digital market. Designed specifically for Nigerian realities, the platform supports local payment systems, aligns with local tenancy practices, and works well for both small landlords and large estate managers. Its strength comes from combining automation, accessibility, transparency, and scalability in one place. Because it replaces multiple manual processes with a unified digital workflow, it reduces disputes, saves time, increases professionalism, and improves trust between landlords, agents, and tenants.
