Hi hunters, Our new Origin is now on Indiegogo! This is not our first collection but this one is special because it could revolutionize the watch industry, so we would like to share it with the product hunt community and have your feedback. It took us almost 2 years to design Origin, a classic mechanical watch with an interchangeable slim strap with embedded electronics for adding fitness and intelligence to traditional timekeeping. When modern tech meets traditional watchmaking, the Origin by Grayton is born! Visit our indiegogo page: http://www.indiegogo.com/at/orig... Hope to hear your thoughts and feedback.

@itsthisjustin they have battery-powered watches. Not to be confused with mechanical self-winding.

@itsthisjustin @deanbrady is right!. The other hybrid watches on the market are integrating electronic in their movement using quartz timekeeping. Martian is a quite bulky because of design. With Origin, we nicely hide electronics in the strap so the watch does't loose its compelling traditional and classic look. You can even see through the Origin from its open-heart to its fully open back cover. It's super nice when you wear it for business to casual. We are targeting more watch enthusiasts than tech people but we are still providing the essential of smarts. In a way, we are trying to combine the best of the tech and watchmaking words in a beautiful timepiece.
