A blank page can make journaling feel harder than it needs to. OraWhale gives you an illustrated oracle card and a gentle daily reflection question, then lets you save a private reflection or Memory Photo. Over time, revisit what you saved through your archive, Search Archive, On This Day, and Year So Far. No social feed. No prediction. No AI reading your journal.

Hi Product Hunt — I’m Alice, the founder of OraWhale.
I built OraWhale for people who want reflection to feel gentle, symbolic, and private.
Many journaling apps begin with a blank page. Many productivity tools turn reflection into something to track, score, or improve. I wanted a softer way to begin: a card to open a perspective, a daily guided reflection question to help the first words arrive, and a private place to notice what stays with you over time.
With OraWhale, you choose your zodiac sign and one of four realms—Plant, Animal, Mushroom, or Gemstone—then draw an oracle card, meet the daily guided reflection question, write what opens, and save the day.
OraWhale is not prediction, therapy, or a social feed. It is a private daily ritual for reflection, memory, and return.
OraWhale is free to begin, with an unlimited private archive included in the Wanderer tier. Optional paid plans add unlimited card draws and expanded memory features, with a 30-day trial.
I’d genuinely value your feedback on two things:
Does the first-time ritual feel clear and inviting?
Do the memory features make you want to revisit what you’ve saved?
For anyone curious about the longer story behind the product, I’m also writing OraWhale Letters here:

Draw a card. Write a reflection. Notice what returns.
