Thanks @Josh_Goldstein! @yinonar and I are co-creators of Openfolio... we'll be hanging out here for the rest of the day. We're big fans of ProductHunt and we'd really love to get some feedback from this community. Here's the two sentence description of what we're doing: Openfolio brings the power of networks – openness, connectivity, collective intelligence – to the world of personal investing. We are a platform where investors share their portfolios – not the amounts, but their contents and ideas – with the belief that a culture of sharing will help everyone make smarter and more informed decisions. We think financial services are broken for our generation (Millennials)... Openfolio is our attempt to reinvent how our generation invests their hard-earned savings. We'd love to hear what you guys think.

@ErikTberg this is a fascinating article... and the graphics are really incredible. There is a lot to comment on here – maybe we should rap about it (on :) The "sharing economy" concept we're focused on is less commerical – one example we love is Waze. It's incredible – users who are stuck in traffic contribute to the Waze community, for no immediate benefit. Waze works under the concept of "you help me... I help you... we help others". We are very much trying to do the same thing with the Openfolio community.

I immediately signed up. I love all things that are looking to improve personal finances and investments for millennials. Good idea! I hope my index fund strategy fairs well :)
