OneTab

Save 95% memory by converting all your open tabs into a list

4.7/5
About

Save up to 95% memory and reduce tab clutter in Google Chrome. OneTab converts all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.

Would you recommend this product?

It's amazing. 99% of the time I never go back to the tabs I save, but that's the beauty of it. I think most of the people who suffer form having tens of tabs open suffer from the version of FOMO. OneTab is a perfect solution for that - you tell yourself you won't miss out or lose the website you want to read "later", because it's safely saved, but you actually don't have to go back to it and waste time on it, while your brain is perfectly happy and calm knowing, that if you need to go back to it, you can.

Pros:

Does it says it will do. Fast and efficient.

Cons:

You an't create custom folders as far as I can tell, only rename the groups already created by OneTab.

I wish that I could create groups of tabs. If I have a group of tabs that are all related to one subject, I want to group them together within the onetab list.

Pros:

Simple to use and effective

Cons:

None at this time

Then I suggest you to give a try to Raindrop, Papaly, Toby or Workona.

@lbragile Hey! Thank you so much <3 Congratulations on your build! I started using Asana, and now when I have a bunch of tabs for myself I just keep them organized in tasks.

I used is for well over 1y and it's OneTab that I always keep opened. Whenever I let loose browsing and I know I have to get back to my focus - right click and move to one-tab for later. Thanks OT team for making this amazing tool.

Pros:

I just love it. Save your tabs as lists and be more productive.

Cons:

So far so good. Simple and nimble.

I LOVE IT. OneTab keeps me sane.

Pros:

I'm addicted. It saves my checklist life from being kept in tabs.

Cons:

It's minimalistic. Basic design without a lot of functionality, but that's all I need.

There are tools with more sophisticated functionality but I love OneTab's simplicity and efficiency. I use it daily. Saves space and sanity.

Pros:

It's simple, and it works

Cons:

If your CPU is running slow it's possible that OneTab will open multiple lists of the same tabs

There doesn't seem to be an option to open a link in a new tab. This would be a great improvement. I also appreciate the QR code generated for each OneTab group. It comes in handy when switching computers.

Pros:

Saves memory on startup. Keeps everything organized and simple.

Cons:

Left clicking open links directly within the same tab, so I lose my organized list if I forget to right click instead.

OneTab allows me to continue hoarding tabs, but also make sure they aren't causing my browser to come to a standstill or get over-cluttered. When I send a group of tabs to OneTab, I try to make sure they represent a project or task I'm trying to accomplish instead of just blasting everything away. This makes it really easy to pick up a project if it comes back to the forefront of my tasks. Otherwise, if it ages there too long, I just get rid of the whole group.

Hitting the OneTab button on your extensions bar will sometimes close multiple (or all) tabs. Use with caution. Generally a pretty weak product; there are better tab caching tools out there. Stay away.
