OneChat

Hi everyone! I'm so freaking excited to share with you a personal project of mine, OneChat. Nervousness and excitement barely describe the feelings I have right now from finally being able to launch, but, I'll try to keep this short. OneChat's vision is to be a global chat where all of us can communicate together in real-time. With most social platforms, you must seed the algorithm to solve their cold start problem. In other words, an app is going to show you content that it thinks you will like based on data. This is where OneChat differs. No likes, no DMs, no reposting for Internet points, no algorithms. Just chatting with others based on a #hashtag. I'm a bit away from a global release, but to start, the app is currently available for both iOS and Android (US & Canada), and Chrome browsers when using PC/MAC/Linux. There are only a limited number of features and an anonymous login (if you can find it) for now but stay tuned as the list of new features continues to grow by the hour.
