Periscope is cool! I think, this was one of the most innovative and influential project of last year. And frankly i find it's quite nice to spend some time, watching a broadcast, the functionality fully satisfied my needs.
But my husband, and a lot of our friends, who was really excited with idea of live broadcasting, stopped using it after rather a short time. And we got the idea why: the Periscope is very cool, if you following some people, but it's not fully suitable for those, who want to watch some cool stuff from random people and places around the world: we felt, that the map and top list was rather inconvenient.
So that lead us to idea of an app, which should be extremely simple to use (gesture-driven navigation) and focused on looking for some interesting random content (we show the top of Periscope). That's OnAir for Periscope.
Analysis customer's usage data shown us, that it can be considered as a quite convenient app for surfing: during one session our customers surf through more than 100 broadcasts.
So now, we think. you can also get some fun using OnAir. Cheers!
