Review of Ohsnap
I was really looking forward to use ohsnap - but after attaching it I recognized I can't turn the ring at all. I could live with the added weight and also with not being able to use wireless charging anymore... but that's really disappointing.

Had it for a few months and really liked it. Was very careful to follow their instructions on how to care for it (not snapping it open and closed all the time and being careful not to bump it around when in the ring form). But unfortunately it’s breaking. I can still get it to lay down but it takes a lot more finessing than before and I can feel the difference in it from yesterday to today. Something has broken. I’m bummed. It’s perfect otherwise. I thought for sure I could make it last if I was careful. ☹️

There are several things that do not work for me. First, because it is basically a giant magnet, it adds significant weight to the phone. Second, the ring (finger grip) will not flatten back out, so it is basically always sticking out. Third, the ring holder makes a VERY flimsy stand. You really cannot touch the screen while it is in "stand mode" cause the phone will tip over every time (in both portrait and landscape modes). Lastly, and this is something I honestly didn't think about when I bought it, you can no longer wirelessly charge the phone when this is stuck on the back of it - it simply won't work, even if you pop out the snap as indicated (Note: I have the OhSnap mounted to a thin silicone case). If you rely on that, as I do, then this is a deal breaker.

Brilliant idea, bad implementation, non-existent CS. I have been a long time Loopy case user, it works great but the downside was the added bulk, so when i saw Ohsnap I thought I can have a loop with minimal bulk. HOWEVER, the loop will not flatten back out and it sticks out (as another one has mentioned here). And apparently, in order to "flatten it out" you have to use two fingers and press it in, its hard work. I contacted CS as i did not know if my ohsnap was faulty, their response was a link to a how to use it video and ghosting after that. Disappointing experience.
