I’m Priyanka, co-founder of Occasia - a platform which provides a simpler way to discover and book small, independent venues for your next event.Finding an affordable, characterful venue shouldn’t mean hours of Googling, Instagram DMs, and back-and-forth emails. Yet many great local spaces are still hard to find — or not online at all.Occasia helps event organisers discover and book independent, small-scale venues (under 100 guests) that are often missing from mainstream platforms.

Why we built it
Most platforms focus on large or commercial venues. We focus on the independent cafés, studios, community spaces, and hidden gems that make local events special and help them get booked more easily.
