Nyburs (www.nyburs.com) was born out of frustration with how social media works today. Most platforms optimise for attention, not people—using invasive tracking, opaque algorithms, and data monetisation that users never really consented to.
The problem we’re solving is simple:
People want to connect online without giving up their privacy or control.
Nyburs is a privacy-first social app where users aren’t the product. No hidden data harvesting. No manipulation-driven algorithms. Just transparent, user-respecting social networking.
While building, our approach evolved quickly. We stopped chasing features and instead focused on principles—privacy by default, user control, and meaningful interaction. Every product decision had to earn its place.
This launch is just the beginning. We’re building Nyburs alongside the community, and your feedback will directly shape what comes next.
