Nutritionista suggests you meals from high quality restaurant food that you can have in the restaurant near you or that can be delivered to your home and office.
Looks like such a useful product!
Would be interested to know where you're sourcing the calorie data from? Will it cater for additional ingredients added at unique restaurants, or is it a general overview of foods in that category e.g. all pizzas?
@lachlankirkwood thanks Lachlan. Good question: We are working on a feature for additional ingredients. If the restaurant provides nutritional data online, we use these data in the app. If the restaurant doesn't provide nutritional information, we are using data science to calculate the estimate of calories and nutrition.
Hey everyone! Anthony here, cofounder at Nutritionista. Today, after months of mvp and refinement, I'm really excited to launch Nutritionista!
After talking with more than 100 influencers, we clearly saw - it's hard to deliver a good quality product on time in all US cities. So far it's only available in New York and San Francisco.
Give it a try and let us know what you think. With Nutritionista we're building a platform that will help you to find favorite food at your favorite restaurants by knowing how many calories & macronutrients are in what you are choosing to eat. We fight a problem affecting more than 1.9 billion adults worldwide & more than 80% of the US population. People who track food achieve more than double the average weight loss.
So don't be shy: try Nutritionista, upvote Nutritionista, enjoy food tracking & start living a healthier life today.
-----
long-term, we simply want to build the best food tracker app
short and medium term, it's always about building the best product, and the best team (we're hiring btw, marketing me@nutritionista.app if you want to build Nutritionista)
We would love your feedback and comments.
I’m fitness bikini girl and I always track my nutrition. This is awesome idea and I love your implementation. Please add manual tracking and I will use it every day.
Pros:
I like that I can count calories and socialize with friends by eating out
Cons:
I can’t manually track the food I cook myself or buy in the store. So I can’t switch from my current calorie counter app.
@yurij_riphyak thanks for question! It is very important to know the right balance of Carbohydrates. Nutritionista automatically counts Calories, Protein, Fat and Carbs.
