nurx's vision is to make it as easy as possible for women to get birth control. They remotely prescribe birth control for women based on a short questionnaire, and then deliver a three month supply -- and it's completely free with any health insurance. I signed up as soon as I heard about it. I already had a prescription for birth control I love: NuvaRing, and so I was able to get that from them. It's a hassle -- and honestly, I feel a little bit embarrassed and patronized -- to have to go to Walgreens every single month, stand in line for 10 minutes and have them go fetch my next NuvaRing. I don't know why it's not over the counter and I resent that I'm not trusted with more than one at a time. If I go on vacation it's a HUGE pain in the ass to try to get one early so I can stay on schedule, so I will usually just stretch the time I'm using one for a little longer to avoid it. The product that men are sometimes responsible for when having safe sex: condoms -- are literally literally sold out nearly everywhere, including vending machines in public bathrooms. I think if men had to be on birth control, something as easy as nurx would have existed a long time ago. I'm excited to see how nurx removing barriers to birth control leads to women being healthier and more empowered.

@maiab Awesome to see that Plan B is available too! Its suppose to be available over-the-counter these days, but with all things related to women's health, that isn't always the case.

Holy cow - this is incredible, and such a huge pain point/need for me personally. Massive kudos, and I seriously can't wait for this to expand to other states.
