My girlfriend is a nurse. The archaic methods she and her colleagues have to use in order to request their schedules, often months in advance, has always disturbed me. I'm talking email chains, physical paper forms, the list goes on. I can't believe something like this isn't already in their hands, and was thrilled when I first learned about it. I know the CEO personally, and he is a nurse himself.

My girlfriend runs theelixirclinic.com and has to manage nurses, schedules, appointments etc... I know exactly what you mean because she keeps asking me to help her find software and apps that do this - and there just aren't any that work for the medical industry! It is a shockingly large and underserved market
