Found out about this from The Independent. From their site: "It’s difficult to imagine the scale of destruction that was wrought on Hiroshima 60 years ago, when a hugely powerful nuclear bomb was dropped on it from an American plane. But one app lets people try envisioning it, mapping out the scale of the destruction on the place where they live." I think it's a really interesting way of helping people understand what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, by putting it in terms they can understand.

My mind's telling me no, but my anxiety is telling me yes.

Ok, this might be one of the more interesting things I have come across on the web in years. Talk about giving context to something I've never really thought about.

Jesus. The scale of the largest bombs is mind blowing. 2M+ dead in Boston for example.
