notify.uno: Notifications for your terminal.

Are you tired of waiting for your tasks to finish? Just do something more important and be notified when you need to check back on your terminal.

Hello Product Hunt 👋 I recently started machine learning, and I quickly realized that most of the time I was watching my algorithms being trained. Of course this takes some time, and I wanted to do something else in the meantime. But how am I supposed to know when it will be finished? Checking every few minutes is really time-consuming, and you can't concentrate on other things. That's why I created notify.uno It will easily notify you from your terminal that your task is finished. One aspect that was really important to me was the support of background notifications so that you don't have to leave notify.uno open in your browser. The project is open source on GitHub, so please feel free to try it out or contribute 😃

I like the project / idea but you can fire notifications from your Mac with a one line of applescript already btw ;)

@justawebguy Oh, I actually didn't knew that, but I am a Windows user so I still need it 😅 On the other hand you can also get notifications to your phone (except iPhone users as Apple made the process to deliver mobile notifications almost impossible)
