Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Duke, co-founder of Nodo with @Sassi_dev ## The Problem I Had A few weeks ago, I realized I was spending 2+ hours every day trying to stay updated on tech news. Morning: 30 minutes on HackerNews Lunch: Scrolling Reddit (r/programming, r/webdev) Evening: Reading 5+ newsletters And here's the crazy part: Most of that content wasn't even relevant to me. I'm a React/Python developer reading about Rust and Go. Filtering through hundreds of articles just to find 5 that actually matter to MY stack. That's when it hit me: This is everyone's problem. ## What Inspired Nodo I asked myself: "What if AI could do the filtering FOR me?" What if I could just: 1. Pick my technologies (React, Python, AWS, etc.) 2. Let AI read thousands of articles daily 3. Get only the 5-7 most relevant ones delivered 5 minutes to read instead of 2 hours to filter. That's Nodo. ## The Build We built this in 20 days, completely in public on Twitter (@dukedevdani). The journey: - Started with the problem I had personally - Talked to other developers (everyone had the same pain) - Built scraping pipeline for HN, Reddit, RSS feeds, tech blogs - Trained AI to curate based on specific technologies - Designed clean, fast UX with @Sassi_dev - One 18-hour final hackathon to ship it No fancy funding. No big team. Just two developers who had this exact problem and decided to solve it. ## How It Works **1. Pick Your Stack** Choose the technologies you actually use (React, Python, TypeScript, AWS, Docker, etc.) **2. AI Curates every 3 days** We scrape thousands of articles from: - HackerNews - Reddit (all major tech subs) - Dev.to, Medium, Hashnode - Major tech blogs - RSS feeds **3. Smart Filtering** AI doesn't just aggregate - it curates for YOUR specific stack: - Relevance scoring - Duplicate removal - Source quality checking - Recency filtering (last 48 hours) **4. Receive Your Newsletter** Get 5-7 hyper-relevant articles delivered: - New's Plan $3,99 per month ## Why We Built This in Public Building in public kept us accountable. 20 days of sharing: - Every bug we hit - Every feature we shipped - Every late night coding session - The 18-hour final hackathon Started with 45 followers, grew to 71. Small numbers, but real people following the journey and giving feedback that shaped the product. ## What Makes Nodo Different **TLDR/ByteByteGo:** Generic newsletters (everyone gets same content) **Daily.dev:** Aggregator (you still filter manually) **HackerNews/Reddit:** Great content, but requires 2+ hours of filtering **Nodo:** Personalized AI curation for YOUR exact stack. Zero filtering needed. ## Try It 👉 nodo.ninja Free tier available - no credit card required. Pick your stack, get your first curated newsletter, and never waste 2 hours filtering again. ## We Need Your Feedback This is Day 1. We're two indie makers shipping fast and listening hard. What would make Nodo more useful for you? - What sources should we add? - What features are missing? - Any bugs or issues? Every comment shapes our roadmap. Thank you for being here on Day 1 🙏 If you like what we're building, an upvote would mean the world. Let's make staying updated actually enjoyable. 🚀 Duke & Sassi Built with ❤️ in Chihuahua, Mexico 🇲🇽

Great idea. But can we customize the number of news in each category?

José de Jesús Hernández Vázquez

@chilarai that would totally be a feature I'd love

@chilarai Not at the moment, but it's a feature that will be added as we move forward, ty🚀❤️

I can’t believe we just got our first sale with our SaaS.🥳

Wild feeling. You build for weeks, then one person shows up and decides it’s valuable. That’s the part that hits.
