Six hours in. Honest recap of what has happened on the launch so far.
What people reacted to most: the approval rule. Almost every comment we got today, on the launch page, on LinkedIn and in the Product Hunt groups on Facebook, was about agents that draft but cannot publish. One founder called it "a workforce with a brake". Another compared it to the human-handoff step in customer-support tools. A customer said the Customer Support agent and the Carousel Designer are saving them real hours every week. Nobody pushed back on the rule, which surprised us. We expected at least one person to say it makes the agents too slow.
What I like most about Nimply is that it brings so many social media tasks into one place. The different agents for replies, moderation, content repurposing, and lead capture make the workflow feel much more organized. I especially like the approval system because I can review things before they go live instead of giving up full control.
I’d love to see even more customization for each agent, especially for brand voice and specific instructions. It would also be useful to have more detailed analytics showing which tasks and workflows are saving the most time.
I was mainly looking at regular social media management tools that focus on scheduling and managing multiple platforms. Nimply stood out to me because it goes beyond scheduling and covers more of the daily work around content, comments, messages, and lead handling.
For me, the biggest plus is that Nimply focuses on the small social media tasks that can quietly take up a lot of time. Having separate tools for comments, DMs, moderation, repurposing, and scheduling makes the whole process feel much more organized. I also appreciate that I can review things before they go out.
I’d love to have more ready-made options for different types of businesses and workflows. It would also be helpful to have a clearer overview of which tasks are completed each day and how much time they have saved.
I’ve mostly used tools that are built around scheduling posts and managing different accounts. I was looking for something that could also help with the work that happens between posts, like handling conversations and turning existing content into something new.
Thank you, Julian. Two good asks. On ready-made options: the gallery today is organised by job (replies, moderation, repurposing, and so on) rather than by business type, and a set of industry starting points is something we want to add. On the daily overview: every agent run is logged with what it did and what it cost, but there is no single end-of-day summary yet, and that is a gap. Both noted. If you tell me your business type I will make sure it is in the first batch.
@farmankhandotdev I’m curious about the browser extension what are the main tasks you can handle with it?
@david_turner12 Good question, David. Sidekick is a capture and assist companion, not a bot. Five things it does today: 1) Keep a post: right-click a post on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, YouTube or TikTok, or any article, and save it to an Ideas board with the text, link and author. 2) Write a post from the page you are on: it drafts a first version in your brand voice and opens it in the Nimply composer for you to edit and approve. 3) Help me reply: on a comment or message, it suggests a few short replies in your voice and copies the one you pick to your clipboard. You paste and send it yourself. 4) Save an image to your media library with a note of where it came from. 5) Save a commenter as a lead with their name, profile link and what they said, no email or phone scraping. It never posts, likes, follows or messages on any site, never changes the page, and only reads when you click. Live on the Chrome Web Store (works in Brave, Vivaldi, Arc) and Safari. Firefox, Edge and Opera builds are coming.
@farmankhandotdev auto reply being strictly opt-in per agent is a really smart design choice.
@priya_kushwaha1 Thank you, Priya. That one came from watching people get burned by tools that answered customers before anyone read the message. So auto-reply is off per agent until you switch it on, and even then a human taking over a thread makes the agent stand down. Slower to demo, safer to run.
@farmankhandotdev Congratulations on your PH launch!
I'd like to know about the content repurposer and ghostwriter. How effectively Nimply can actually learn of a brand’s existing content and voice and how much of a context it can maintain before the output starts feeling like generic AI copy?
Btw, the functionality on that browser extension as explained by you is very intriguing. Kudos to the whole team!
@agzee Thank you, Aurangzeb, and that is the right question to ask. Honest answer: the agents do not silently absorb your whole history. They work from a brand voice profile you set up in the workspace (tone, rules, examples of your own posts) plus the specific content you point them at. The Repurposer takes one piece you choose and turns it into drafts for other networks. The Ghostwriter writes from your voice profile and the brief you give it. So the quality tracks the examples you feed it: three good posts as samples beats a vague description every time. Where it still shows its AI side is long-run consistency across many drafts, which is exactly why every draft lands in an approval queue instead of publishing. First week you edit a lot, then less. If you try it and a draft feels generic, send it to me and I will tell you what the profile was missing.
@farmankhandotdev Makes absolute sense. Appreciate a detailed response. I'll definitely reach out to you if I hit a bump along the way. 👍
@farmankhandotdev Congrats on the launch! 🎉 The idea of AI agents handling repetitive social media tasks while keeping humans in control is really interesting. Wishing you a successful launch! 🚀
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm on the Nimply team. We built it because most social tools only schedule. You still write every post and answer every DM yourself.
Nimply is an AI team on top of a full scheduling platform: 10 AI agents you hire from a gallery (support replies, LinkedIn posts, carousels, repurposing, thumbnails and more), a visual automation canvas, unified inbox, analytics, and scheduling for 8 networks. Agents draft, you approve. Nothing publishes without a human.
API + MCP on every plan, including Free. Paid from $9.99/mo, flat. WELCOME75 gets you 75% off.
Which agent would you hire first? Happy to answer anything. 🙏
@salluhee hye i think you should make this product free for now not fully free but litilbit amout of freee so a normal persen can wark
@salluhee @mrsamyy Thanks Sameer. There is already a Free plan and it does not ask for a card. You can connect your channels, schedule posts and try the agents with the monthly AI credits that come with it. If a limit on the Free plan blocks you from doing real work, tell me which one and I will look at it.
Thank you, Zubair. "An AI social media team working with you" is the way we think about it too, with you still holding the approve button.@izubairafridi
Thanks, Tahir. Simplifying the workflow is exactly the goal, and the approval step is what keeps it safe to hand off. Glad to have you on the team for this.@muhammad_tahir34
@suryansh_tiwari2 Thank you, Suryansh. The video was the part we rewrote the most, so that means a lot. Good luck with EverTutor, and if you try an agent and something feels off, tell me here.

Thank you, Matthew. Both of your notes are fair. Per-agent brand voice and custom instructions are exactly where we want to go deeper, and analytics that show which agent or workflow saved you the most time is a good idea we had not written down yet. Both are on the list now. If there is one agent where the voice feels off today, tell me which one and I will look at it first.
