👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m the maker of Nicasa. Thanks so much for checking us out today — really appreciate you being here. Nicasa started from a very personal frustration. As developers and creators, we love the power of modern AI image models, but actually using them locally often feels painful: too many scripts and terminals fragile UIs heavy cloud dependency (and privacy concerns) tools that are powerful, but not pleasant to work with every day So I started building Nicasa with a simple goal: Make professional AI image workflows feel like a real, native desktop app — fast, private, and under your control. What makes Nicasa different Everything runs locally — no uploads, no accounts, no lock-in Designed for real workflows, not demos Clean canvas-based UI for image editing, inpainting, and more Built to be extensible, so it can grow with new models and ideas This is still an early but very opinionated product. I’m intentionally focusing on: performance UX for long sessions and not over-abstracting things for “marketing simplicity” I’d love your feedback ❤️ If you’re an AI artist, designer, or developer: What local AI workflows do you struggle with most? What feels missing in today’s tools? What would make Nicasa genuinely useful for you? I’ll be here all day replying to comments and questions. Thanks again for your support — and if Nicasa resonates with you, an upvote really helps an indie project like this 🙏 — Terry Maker of Nicasa
