Nible is a fast, lightweight news app built for people who want Dutch and international updates without the clutter. You get crisp 60-word summaries you can swipe through in seconds, and you choose when to open the full article. Your feed stays fresh, shows the latest stories first, and adjusts to what you prefer with custom topics. No Ads, no sign up, no fluff, Just See what Matters Website: https://www.nible.news/

I built Nible because staying updated in the Netherlands felt harder than it needed to be. Most news apps were noisy, slow, or cluttered, and as someone who prefers reading news in English, getting quick local updates was surprisingly painful.
What I felt was missing:
Short, useful summaries instead of full-page articles by default
English coverage of Dutch stories in one place
A clean, fast UI without ads or tracking
A feed that shows the latest first and actually adapts to what you care about
Minimal friction — swipe → understand → decide if it’s worth the full read
So I built Nible with a simple idea:
Give people the news in the quickest, cleanest way possible, and let them choose when to go deeper.
You’ll find categorized topics, helpful notifications for new/trending stories, and a morning newsletter for a quick catch-up. My goal is to remove friction, not add another endless feed.
I’d love your thoughts on:
How readable the summaries feel
Whether the story selection feels balanced
Anything that feels slow, confusing, or unnecessary

Been using Nible in beta for a while now, I think it's a great addition to the EU news stack!! My favorite part is that, I can read the gist of the stories without opening the page, unlike Google's news feed where every story is luring you for a click. Excited to see where this goes, good luck!!
@rohitkg98 Glad to hear you liked it, you can also subscribe to our newsletter https://www.nible.news/ to get the top news delivered to you every morning.
