Hello, Product Hunt community! Next Decision for Jira was developed as a follow-up to our generic version of Next Decision. The tight integration it has with Jira allows for a great experience for teams that are already using Jira to prioritize their development or product backlogs, or to prioritze business priorities. The unique process that Next Decision takes the team through allows for a fast arrival to a sorted list of priorities that represents the often-clashing priorities of stakeholders on a project. Next Decision's decision-making process is democratic, everyone's voice is heard equally. Instead of simple voting, the participants perform a series of votes between pairs of options. This takes away a lot of the complexity and indecisiveness when a large number of issues fight for a few spots to get done next. The voting will run a few rounds, until the optimal priority order is reached. Its main benefits include: - Reduces endless discussions among managers from different departments, streamlining the prioritization process. - Fosters a sense of responsibility and inclusiveness, as every team member participates in the voting process and knows how the result was reached - Our algorithm to pair issues can reach a well-sorted list of priorities as quickly as between 10 to 30 minutes, depending on number of options to sort, regardless of a number of participants (with the real-time option) Our experience with a similar product (the regular Next Decision) in a few companies showed outstanding results, in which decision discussions that reached stalemate holding results for months, reach an agreed-upon and supported direction within one meeting.
