A minimal, powerful, and native system monitor for macOS. Track network speeds, CPU load, memory pressure, and disk storage directly from your menu bar.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Net Bar to be the system monitor I always wanted on macOS — minimal, powerful, and truly native.
It lives quietly in your menu bar and gives you real-time visibility into what actually matters:
• Download & upload speeds
• CPU usage
• Memory pressure & RAM usage
• Disk space (used vs free)
• Battery status & health
• Device temperature
• Detailed Wi-Fi diagnostics (SSID, signal, noise, link rate, latency)
But what makes it different is customization:
You can drag-and-drop to reorder sections, disable anything you don’t need (and it disappears entirely), and fine-tune typography — font size, spacing, even kerning.
It also gives contextual smart tips like:
“High Memory Usage” or “Weak Signal” — only for the sections you’ve enabled.
Built with SwiftUI + AppKit. Lightweight. Fast. Native.
Fully open source. No data collection. Everything runs locally.
Would love your feedback 🙌
