@daveambrose Ah yes I saw Boutiny mentioned somewhere else the other day. There is another one called Kwoller too: http://goo.gl/7TDe83

@zoltarSpeaks I really like the idea and appreciate it just being dresses. I would like to see some sort of categorization --"Evening" "Day Dresses" "Skirts". Being able to see product information before deciding to like it would also be useful.
Also integrating it with Pinterest would be awesome.
@Toria_Talk thanks for the great feedback.
Most of the people we've spoken to have mentioned categorisation. I suspect it's something we'll implement.
What kind of product information did you have in mind that you'd like to see before clicking through?
Integration with Pinterest is a great idea too. We're really into Pinterest at the moment and have been collecting a lot of inspiration over there: http://www.pinterest.com/flipshop/.
I'm rather curious about the whole tinder/swipe UI. I have an app under review right now that implements it as well.
I read an interview sometime back (can't find now) with one of the tinder founders who, in explaining the app's success, said something along the lines of tinder simulates what its like to make eye contact across a bar with someone and the snap decision that takes place. I thought that was bs, and that its really just an engaging/addicting UX that could be applied to other niches. I think we'll start to see more mobile apps ditch the feed based UX for more of a card/swipe UX.
As for Flipshop, nicely done @zoltarSpeaks. I particularly like the button mask on the pan gesture.
Edit - couple of my questions were answered while I was typing this up!
