When we started Mortgage Adviser Directory, the goal was simple: make it easier for people to find real mortgage advice, not sales funnels. We kept seeing people bounced between comparison sites, lead forms, and call centres, without ever understanding their actual options. So we built a platform that puts qualified advisers first, with clear information and no pressure. As we built the directory, we realised many users weren’t even ready to speak to an adviser yet – they just wanted clarity. That’s why we also added free tools, like our mortgage affordability calculator, payment calculator, loan-to-value calculator, and an equity release calculator, to help people understand the numbers before taking the next step. This is still very much a work in progress, and we’re continuing to iterate based on real user feedback. Would love any thoughts or questions from the Product Hunt community.
