Having previously been the victim of domain name hijacking; Moniker is the only domain registrar that I trust. Their $130 Portfolio MaxLock (or $20 per domain)/year is the best security that I've found for a domain. You can give them very specific MANUAL instructions that need to be followed before any changes can be made to your domain; so even if someone manages to hijack your account, they wont be able to get your domains. e.g. you can say "do not unlock or move my domain to another registrar without phoning me on this phone-number and only speaking to Jack Smith and confirm my passport number with me". You can also apply this "lock" to any of the following: - WHOIS contact info - Domain Name Servers (DNS) - IP management - URL forwarding - E-mail forwarding - Account preferences, users and passwords - Payment information
