Natalie here... I created the MoMowallet app to help busy MoMs, like myself, sort through the multitude of promotional offers that come our way. I did not have time to search for deals in circulars, on multiple websites, in stores, and sort through promotional emails. As a result, I would miss out on amazing promotions that would simply get lost in in my Inbox and the black hole that is my Mom Purse. I wanted one place where all types of promotional offers lived, got collected based on my interests and to receive reminders if any were due to expire. I also wanted a tool where items on my shopping list would be linked to available promotions.
The MoMoWallet iOS app, displays a continuous feed of offers, finds products and services based on your interests and it automatically organizes them into store or personal shopping lists. Promotions come in from a variety of sources - your emails (Google promotions tab), point of sale, and hand picked by our team based on our users' interests - all getting displayed in one neat Deals Feed. One nifty feature that I thought would be especially useful while helping de-clutter our inboxes is the ability for users to give out their MoMoWallet id instead of their personal email address when asked at the checkout or online. This funnels all promotional emails directly into the app and eliminates email clutter. After all, email is really not the right tool when you are on the look out for savings.
Currently, we have a number of national retailers and some small businesses that partner with us. The www.momowallet.com web site allows small businesses to register and create promotional campaigns to reach our network of MoMs.
