Milanote is one of those rare tools that just clicks with how creative people actually think. Instead of forcing you into rigid lists or spreadsheets, it gives you a freeform canvas where you can organize ideas visually — mood boards, project briefs, brainstorms, everything in one place. I use it daily and honestly can't imagine my workflow without it. The drag-and-drop interface is incredibly intuitive, and the ability to mix notes, images, links, and files on the same board is a game changer. Really looking forward to seeing what the team ships next — this tool deserves way more attention. Keep building!

For our team, this is the digital space that truly replaces the office wall covered in sticky notes and photos. We use Milanote for assembling moodboards and developing our brand's visual strategy. Linear documents kill creativity, whereas here, the infinite canvas allows us to see the bigger picture entirely. It makes it easy to group references, notes, and files in one place, establishing logical connections between them.

The mobile app currently acts more like a companion tool for viewing and quickly uploading photos. I’d love to have full editing capabilities - moving elements around on a phone or tablet just as freely as on the desktop version

The templates with example data is what first drew me in, but I've been hooked ever since! It not only lets me collect links and text, but also photos, videos, color swatches, hand drawn notes and more. The visual board display isn't available on the mobile version which is kind of a bummer, but honestly I use it more on the Desktop than anything else. The only thing that could make it better in 2025 would be implementing AI search and insights that would bubble up connections between previous content or board collections or items that are related or seem relevant. I have tried so many note-taking apps, but this one is the one that I'm currently loving the most!
