Never would I, a Mac user for some 10+ years, owning pretty much every Mac that was released in that time, thought a Windows machine would be the one that I cherish the most. That's the case for my existing Surface Pro. I love it and it will be interesting to see how much better the new ones are in comparison. I wonder if this only allows apps from the Windows Store like mentioned on the Microsoft Surface Laptop Pre-order starts today at $799 but Type Cover and Surface Pen need to be purchased separately ($129 and $99, respectively) @tomwarren does a great write up on Wired here

@bentossell @k3sava Don't worry. It runs Windows 10 Pro. It's how the pro series of Surface tablets got their name.
