Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Jonas, the founder of Merrisk. Over the past few years, one thing kept bothering me: trust online is broken. Reviews can be bought, manipulated, or generated by bots. In fact, platforms removed hundreds of millions of fake reviews last year alone, and the number keeps growing. But something interesting happened while working with online businesses and payment processors — the real signals of trust already exist. Payment processors quietly track things like chargebacks, transaction history, account stability, and processing behavior. These signals are far harder to fake than reviews. So I built Merrisk. Merrisk creates a Merchant Risk Score using verified payment processor data and turns it into a dynamic trust badge businesses can display on their website. Instead of asking customers to trust reviews, businesses can prove credibility with real operational data.
