Hi Product Hunt! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™m the founder of Parevo. We built Mergen because we were frustrated. As developers, we spend half our lives in database clients. Yet, the industry standard has become "heavy" apps. My laptop fan shouldn't sound like a jet engine just because I ran a simple SELECT * query. So, we decided to build the tool we wanted to use: Rejection of Electron: We used Go + Wails. This gives us the flexibility of web technologies (React) but the performance of a native app. Aesthetics Matter: DB tools are usually ugly. We gave Mergen a sleek Glassmorphism UI because developer tools deserve to look good too. Open Source: We believe in transparency. Mergen is currently in active development supporting MySQL and PostgreSQL. Iโ€™d love to hear your feedback on the UI and performance. Does it feel faster than your current tool? Let me know in the comments! ๐Ÿ‘‡ Happy querying! ๐Ÿš€
