MeetingTok was created to solve a recurring problem we observed in real, in-person events. Across large meetings, trainings, classrooms, and sports sessions, we noticed that engagement often breaks down not because the content is poor, but because it fails to reach everyone equally. In rooms with hundreds or even thousands of people, those sitting farther away struggle to see slides clearly, hear explanations, or participate without interrupting the flow. MeetingTok was designed around a simple idea: bring the room to every phone. The platform supports thousands of participants simultaneously, allowing presentation content—such as slides—to be delivered to audience devices with near-zero perceived latency, even in large-scale offline venues. Attendees join instantly via a link or QR code, with no app downloads and no account creation required. By shifting key interactions to the audience’s own devices, MeetingTok enables live questions, voting, and feedback without disrupting the presenter or the event rhythm. This helps restore focus, clarity, and participation across the entire room. Our product approach evolved significantly after launch. Early iterations explored a broader feature set, but real-world usage quickly revealed what mattered most in offline environments: reliability at scale, real-time performance, and minimal friction. We deliberately narrowed our focus to ensure that MeetingTok works instantly, remains stable with large audiences, and requires virtually no learning curve. MeetingTok is not limited to traditional conference rooms. Its lightweight mobile mode is optimized for outdoor and active scenarios such as sports events, parties, and informal gatherings. In these environments, participants can easily join polls, lotteries, and countdowns from their phones, even while moving. Accessibility and simplicity are core to the product. Attendees join instantly via a link or QR code, with no app downloads, no accounts, and no setup required. This low-friction approach ensures high participation rates across all types of audiences. MeetingTok also reflects a deliberate product philosophy in its pricing. The free plan is intentionally generous, offering 15 rooms per month, with up to 300 participants per room, allowing organizers to run real events and experience the platform at scale before upgrading. Today, MeetingTok is not a general-purpose meeting tool. It is infrastructure for large, in-person engagement, built to perform reliably across venues, crowd sizes, and scenarios—wherever people gather.
