I built this because I was frustrated with the current landscape of meeting tools - everything either costs $15-30/month per user, has feature bloat I don't need, or makes me jump through hoops just to record and transcribe a simple conversation. I wanted something that just works: tap to record, get a transcript, organize my notes. That's it. Why I made these decisions: Pricing: I went with 5 hours free per week because that covers most people's actual needs. If you need more, it's a one-time $4.99 purchase - not another subscription. I'm tired of subscription fatigue, and I figured you are too. Simplicity: No team dashboards, no integrations, no AI summaries with dubious accuracy. Just reliable recording, transcription, and organization. Sometimes the best tool is the one that stays out of your way. Privacy: Everything stays on your device. I'm not building a data empire here - just a useful tool. This is my side project built nights and weekends in San Francisco.
