Hi Product Hunt, I’m Wonsuk, the founder of Medipaths 👋 I started Medipaths after watching international patients struggle to get clear, trustworthy information about Korean healthcare. Clinic websites, blogs, agencies, and reviews all tell different pieces of the story—but never in one place, and often out of date. That makes choosing a doctor or treatment risky, confusing, and stressful. The problem I wanted to solve is simple: “If I’m flying to another country for surgery or treatment, can I see everything I need—doctors, treatments, prices, safety info, languages, and logistics—in one transparent, structured page?” Medipaths is my attempt to build that “single source of truth” for Korean healthcare. Every provider page is designed like a mini-website: treatments, doctors, qualifications, FAQs, operating hours, languages, even AI assistance—kept structured and up to date, instead of scattered across the internet. The approach evolved a lot. At first, I imagined a simple directory. Then I realized directories don’t solve the real pain: missing details, outdated info, and lack of personalization. So I focused on deep data: standardized fields for every treatment, doctor, and clinic, plus AI to help patients navigate that information in their own language. This launch is just the beginning.
