A platform that provides devs with easy access to an array of powerful tools to augment their applications. Think LangChain tools, like Web Search and Summarization but as an all-in-one hosted API.

Hi Hunters. I'm launching my first SaaS 🙌 I kept finding myself writing the same code over and over while building applications with ChatGPT (Even USING apps like ChatGPT and Claude too!). Every side project needed the same basic features - web search, info extraction, etc because LLMs by themselves often hallucinate incorrect statements. There were features I wanted to add because they were genuinely useful, but they were SUCH a pain to implement, especially after having done it several times. So I made Mechanix with the aim of integrating all these tools into just one API. If you're a developer building an app using ChatGPT or other AIs, I'm almost certain you'll benefit from the time and headaches saved by using Mechanix. Developers shouldn't have to use separate APIs for each tool that also come with varying levels of technical support, pricing, etc. My goal is to make it centralised in one API, easy to use for both developers and casual users, and affordable w/ a free tier. For casual, non-technical users, you'll find use in this product as well via the playground. The playground lets users test out all the features Mechanix has. You (nor developers) will not need to build an application yourself to use it, you can head onto the Mechanix website and try it out ourself in a UI. However, this is still in works, therefore the playground will not be immediately available. Similarly, tools and other features are also still in the works. It's free while we're in Beta. Let me know how it goes. Also, I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback. If you'd like to chat, hit me up via Product Hunt, Email (see site), or Discord!
