A fast, local-first Markdown viewer and editor. Open a file, see the folder around it, and read, search, and edit in one small window — on your machine only. Three views: Preview, Split (live), Editor (CodeMirror 6 with Markdown highlighting) Workspace sidebar respectinggitignore, recent files/folders Full-text search across your workspace Safe saving with conflict detection and crash recovery No telemetry, no accounts, no cloud — 100% local

I built Markdown Visual because I wanted a simple desktop Markdown workflow that stays fast, local-first, and distraction-free.
The core will stay free: open, browse, search, edit, and preview Markdown without ads or an account.
What I want to explore next is bigger: optional AI-assisted writing, inline suggestions, and one-click publishing to a public static page. Those features need infrastructure, so the plan is to keep them optional and let subscriptions/community support fund that layer — without changing the free core.
I’d love feedback from anyone who works with Markdown every day: what should I build next, and what would actually be worth paying for?
And yes… if an angel investor happens to be reading this, my inbox is open 😄
