I usually have Claude Code, Codex and Cursor agents running on my Mac at the same time. The annoying part isn't the multiple agents. It's checking on each of them. One finishes while I'm on the train, another asks a question while I'm at the gym, and nothing happens until I'm back at my desk.
Voice apps from the model companies talk to one assistant. I wanted one voice for all of my agents.
m’kay drives the real desktop apps on your Mac, so your sessions and projects stay where they are. From your phone's browser (no phone app to install), you can:
- ask "what's running?" and hear which agents are busy, done, or waiting on you
- have a reply read and summarized to you, or answer agent's questions
- dictate the next instruction to any of them, or start a new chat in a project
Nothing is sent until the bot reads your message back, says where it's going, and hears you say "yes". That check is in the code, not the prompt, so the model can't talk itself past it.
It's open source and runs on your Mac: speech recognition and voices are local, only the LLM is in the cloud. Or install the menu-bar app and talk to it from anywhere.
