While studying for exams I noticed something frustrating about most learning platforms.
They usually provide a limited set of practice questions. Once you finish them, you're stuck going back to rereading notes again.
But rereading notes isn’t actually the most effective way to learn.
Research around learning science shows that active recall — testing yourself — is one of the most powerful ways to improve memory and understanding.
The problem is that generating enough practice questions manually takes a lot of time.
So I started experimenting with AI and ended up building a tool called Lunora.
The idea is simple: convert any study material into quizzes automatically.
You can paste notes, upload PDFs, or use lecture content, and the system generates practice questions instantly.
Some things I focused on while building it:
• unlimited quiz generation from study material
• memory-sharpening quiz games
• practice tests to check understanding
• active recall based learning sessions
• progress tracking so students can see weak areas
The goal is to make studying feel more like training your brain rather than passively reading information.
