What inspired me to build Lucy I’m a product designer, and exporting designs from Figma to PowerPoint has always been painful. Most tools either flatten everything, break text and layouts, or don’t work well with real product files. PowerPoint is still the default format for stakeholders, so this step is unavoidable. Lucy started as a small side project after my previous exporter subscription ended. I wanted a tool that preserves editable text and shapes, respects layout, and works reliably with real screens. I built Lucy for my own workflow first — and decided to share it.
