Team building naturally happens when the right environment is provided, but today's mixed presence (remote, hybrid) situation makes it so much harder to get to know each other at scale. Last month, we decided to fully pivot away from the previous Lounge, which focused on communication use cases like audio/screensharing/screen recording/messaging. This all-new Lounge was created from scratch to asynchronously spark natural conversations for teams with distance-agnostic (onsite/hybrid/remote 👌🏻) set of activities. 📸 Team Minute: Unlike posting on Slack, photos are organized by people and timeline. It’s like an interactive team yearbook that helps you get to know each other better at their own pace. 👟 Steps Challenge: Effortless steps challenge with your teammates. - 🙌 Reach the daily goal of 10K steps - 🥇 Win the daily challenge - 🌎 Compete with other teams through a global leaderboard -Coming soon- 🧩 Daily quiz: Guess the phrase 🧘‍♂️ Meditation: Daily streaks 📣 Then, at the end of each day, Lounge will share the daily summary via your designated Slack channels like #random #watercooler #pets. I love Lounge! It is such an easy app to use to help build your team culture and really help you get to know everyone on your team. Lounge is tackling a massive challenge right now with remote teams feeling connected and unified. So excited about what it has been doing for our team at ZeeMee!

I don't get it. What are the 3D environments for? This is a like a team-restricted Instagram?

As a remote team, it's really hard to find good activities to play. The best part of one of the features - the step counting competition - is that the steps are passively tallied. No need to actively input or interact or chase down people to participate, so it's super convenient. I end up checking it multiple times to make sure I'm not the laziest one on the team! Really excited for the upcoming features like the daily quiz and other types of games too.
