Locarie

Hi everyone. I'm Krystal, and the co-founder of Locarie 👋 My co-founder and I always loved playing and exploring with maps, sometimes we go on Google Maps to just randomly drag and see the world. There is a fair share of functional maps on the market, but we haven't seen one that uses the space for personalised stories or more emotional use, like the routes we take, the cafés we remember, the places that hold meaning. And we felt there was no simple, delightful way to turn those personal stories into maps we could share, explore, or keep. So Locarie started as a little idea: What if maps were a creative medium? What if they could feel personal, expressive, and alive? So we built Locarie as an experiment. This is a very basic beta version of what we want to create; bugs and issues are still there. Our hope is that Locarie becomes a quiet, joyful corner — a place where we map and explore life. In this launch version, you can: - Create your own maps in a few taps - Explore our world map - Collaborate with friends - Save maps as postcards (my favourite!) - Follow creators and see the world their way We'd love your feedback, your ideas on improvement or future development, what map would you be interested in making, anything!
