Hello Product Hunt! šŸ‘‹ I'm Yuan, the maker of LocalAudioConvert. I built this tool because I frequently needed to convert personal voice memos but felt uncomfortable uploading them to random cloud servers. I wanted a solution that was private, free, and didn't require installing heavy software. LocalAudioConvert runs entirely in your browser. It leverages WebAssembly (FFmpeg.wasm) to process audio files locally on your machine. Why I built it this way: šŸ”’ 100% Privacy: Your files never leave your device. No server uploads, ever. ⚔ Client-side Processing: Once the engine loads, conversions happen instantly. šŸ›  No Installation: It works directly in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Note on Performance: Since it runs a full FFmpeg instance in the browser, the first load downloads a core file (~25MB). I've optimized this with Cloudflare caching, so subsequent visits should be instant! I'd love your feedback: 1. Does it work smoothly on your device/browser? 2. Are there any specific audio formats you need that are missing? 3. Any bugs or UI glitches? Thanks for checking it out! šŸš€
