My friend Yonk & his two friends created this app over the weekend and just released it on the app store today! Within 3 hours they've received 650+ downloads, being the first mover for iOS. I'm not a PoGo user, but dang, this trend is real.

Thank you so much Sonya for posting this! We' just broke a 1k download in a few hours! We are working over time to make sure our server can handle the load!

@iamyonk: Not sure what the app does. I can't press the only button on the top-right. Don't know what it's for Also, $9.99 to unlock background scanning seems a little rich

@ankushdharkar Hey Thanks for the feedback Ankush! That red button is the scan button! I know it's not the best design, we are pushing our v2 to app store and addressed this big issue :) As for the background scanning price tag, totally understand! We are still in the initial testing stage, our server isn't designed to handle a lot of requests yet, and these requests take a LOT of resources (5 seconds per requests, happens every a few minutes for every client). So we are setting a high price to avoid being flooded, once our backend server is robust, we will drop the price for everyone :)

@iamyonk I see. Thank you for the clarification I hope you also consider something like one-week free background scanning to prove the usefulness of the app. Does that make sense?
