Hey everyone! I've always been interested in languages and found it difficult to memorize all the new vocabulary that comes along with tackling a new one. I also didn't always want to learn what structured language curriculums taught (in schools and app based). I was also interested in learning multiple languages with different focuses in each. For example, I want to learn Korean to understand more of K-dramas, Spanish to talk to my wife grandmother, Swahili to talk to my extended family, Dutch to feel more like a local, and French to order croissants -- to name a few. I built this iOS Safari Extension which will take the words I'm learning and even some I want to learn and replace them in my normal browsing experience. By seeing these words somewhat frequently I'm able to memorize them over time without the stress of focused study-sessions.

@orangejuice_1 there are two things that are important to me. First is to support multiple languages at the same time. I’m interested in learning a little bit of many languages instead of a lot of one language. Linguisticat allows for as many parallel languages as you want. Second is ownership over what you learn. Within this app you can study some of the predefined content or create your own cards and replace them right away. Different people learning the same language have different goals and I wanted to accommodate that with a flexible replacement option.
