Lifescreen visualizes your whole life on a single phone screen, inspired by the “Your Life in Weeks” concept. The main advantage is instant access to your numbers via notifications — your current age, week, and day, updated automatically at midnight. You can also set a personal deadline by age and see how much time is left. Designed to be simple: no onboarding, no registration. Launch it once and forget about it. Return only when you wonder, “Where am I in my life?”
The main idea of the app is to give you a sense of urgency, make you realize in your heart that time really goes fast, and embrace the idea that you will be dead one day — 100%. So, if you keep track of it, you don’t need to force yourself with motivation or discipline — the energy should come naturally.
A favourite quote of mine:
"A man who lacks purpose distracts himself with pleasure"
It basically means that if you don’t know what you’re doing in life — if you’re not aspiring to something — you will always spiral into alcohol, drugs, mindless computer games, partying — losing yourself entirely in pleasure.
So, perhaps if a man without purpose sees that his time is slipping away each day, his mind will formulate a purpose for him, or in desperation of losing his time, he will take the necessary actions that may generate ideas leading to his purpose. In the end, he can live up to his full potential.
