➡️ Save a backup of everyone you follow on Twitter along with their profile info. ➡️ Make a public record of where people can find you outside of Twitter ➡️ (optional) Make your email address visible to mutual follows to stay connected outside of Twitter
Last Friday I realized that if Twitter actually did bite the big one (or people left in a mass-exodus), I'd lose contact with a bunch of people that I only follow on Twitter.
So, I burned the midnight oil and launched "Life After Tweets".
A site where you can:
➡️ Save a backup of everyone you follow on Twitter along with their profile info.
➡️ Make a public record of where people can find you outside of Twitter
➡️ (for fun) Write your Twitter "Epitaph" that gets overlayed on a tombstone
➡️ Optionally make your email address visible for people you follow that also follow you back (mutual follows) to stay connected outside of Twitter
If this sounds interesting to you, check it out, share with your Tweeps and let me know if you have any suggestions or hit bugs.
Thanks gang!

@pstark Love this idea! It would be great to eventually see something like this for all the social tools. LinkedIn, Facebook etc.
People have been “renting” their connections on these platforms for far too long. We should be able to take them with us when we decide to leave.
