Hey everyone! Orazio here, founder of lft · looking forward to. This is an app that is special to me, as it came to life because of a specific need I had during a particularly dark period of my life. I won't bore you with the specifics, but the gist is that when day-to-day life seemed unbearable, I used to find light in having something to 'look forward to', this could be a tv show's new season, a major movie release, a football event or even just one of my friends' birthdays or similar special occasions. This was years ago, and as you can imagine I didn't have the mental power to create an app around the concept, but now that I'm in a better place I decided to make something that the me of back then would have greatly appreciated (and, honestly, the present me does as well in a more light-hearted way). lft is not just a normal countdown app, it is a way of discovering and keeping track of worldwide major events in various topics (sports, music, festivals, movies, etc.). It is divided into 3 main sections: 🔎 Discover: This is a curated, constantly updated feed of highly anticipated events. Each event has a card that includes the title and countdown (or approximate date), a '+' button to add it to your personal Looking Forward To page, and a related-news section you can access by clicking on the card. 📅 Looking Forward To: This is your personal page, where you can see all your added events from the Discover feed, and also create your personal, private ones by selecting an image either from your gallery or from a quick search with Pexels. You can personalize the event by choosing a card shape, a repeating option and a visual countdown. ↺ Looking Back On: After an event, you will be able to track the 'Days since' on here. If you want to track them for an event you didn't add, you will also be able to create new events directly in this page. Whether you are in need of having something to look forward to like I did back in the days, or just want to keep track of your favorite events like I do now, I hope this app helps you. We will be constantly updating the app's functionalities and designs, so your feedback would be highly appreciated!
