👋 Hey Product Hunt!

I'm thrilled to share LexiLex with you today!

The problem I was solving:

How many times have you needed to quickly prepare for a specific conversation in a foreign language? A job interview, a government office visit, or even just ordering at a restaurant?

Traditional language apps give you either generic topics or require you to manually build your own vocabulary lists. In the AI era, this felt... insufficient. I wanted something that helps you learn exactly what you need, right now.

What LexiLex does:
🎯 Generate custom topics from a brief description (text or voice)
📝 Automatically break them into learnable phrases
🔄 Sync phrases between your native language and 26 target languages
🎴 Study with smart Anki-style cards that adapt to your progress
📱 Scan, type, or speak your text - whatever works for you
📚 1000+ ready-made categories if you need inspiration

Under the hood: We're using Gemini and Claude for translation and text splitting, OpenAI embeddings for phrase matching, and Google API for text recognition.

What's coming:
- Alternative learning methods beyond flashcards
- Community topic sharing

Right now, there's no monetization - just reasonable usage limits to keep things sustainable.
We've poured a lot of heart into making language learning more practical and personalized. I'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, and feedback!
