Hey Product Hunt,

I'm Eric, the creator of Let’s Spoon — a swiping app for deciding where to eat.

Last year, I saw a viral meme about the need for an app like this, and I immediately thought, "Why doesn’t this exist yet?" I looked around, but nothing really matched what I had in mind.

With the rise of LLMs and low-code platforms, I figured it was finally easy enough to build — and it was the perfect excuse to learn the app development process along the way, especially with no coding experience.

This isn’t just about couples. I can’t count how many times I’ve sat with friends or even by myself, endlessly scrolling through restaurant options, unable to decide. Let’s Spoon solves that problem.

Here's how it helps you cut through the indecision:

Swipe to Match – Swipe left or right on restaurants until you and your partner (or friend) match on a spot.
Save Your Picks – Keep a list of restaurants you love or want to try and easily swipe on them later.
AI-Generated Reviews – Summarized reviews and top dish recommendations to help you decide faster.
Get There Fast – One tap to open directions or check the restaurant’s profile in maps.

Why It’s Different
Yelp and other review apps give you information — Let's Spoon gives you a decision.

You don’t have to debate back and forth; it’s quick and collaborative.
No more indecisive scrolling — just swipe, match, and go.
It’s perfect for dates, friend groups, or even solo decision-making.

I’d Love Your Feedback
This is still early days, and I’d love to hear what you think! Does the swiping feel intuitive? Is it overall useful? Any features you’d love to see? It's my first app and I have no development experience, so I'm sure there are some best practices I'm missing.
